In Excel Level 1: Fundamentals, you'll learn how to navigate, manage, create formulas and use basic functions in worksheets. Then in Excel Level 2: Working with Data, you'll learn how to understand, filter and sort different types of data, work with advanced formulas, and utilize the Data Model with pivot tables. After the full day of Microsoft Excel training, you’ll be able to organize and analyze data more efficiently and effectively to make informed business decisions.
Follow along with the instructor as you practice various tools and functions using the downloadable exercise files provided. You'll also receive a comprehensive guide with step-by-step instructions, shortcuts, and tips for everything you learn in this class.
Upon completion, students will be awarded two digital credentials - Excel Level One: Fundamentals, and Excel Level Two: Working with Data - issued by St. Cloud State University on behalf of the Minnesota State Live Online collaboration. Certificates of Completion will be available to download/print along with the digital credentials.
For human resource professionals, each 4-hour course provides 3.5 professional development credits for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.

What You'll Earn:
Students who complete these trainings will earn two industry-specific digital credentials tied to in-demand skills, using the Credly platform, an industry leader in digital credentials. These credentials will be valuable additions to your professional portfolios, allowing you to communicate the skills you have acquired through aligned professional offerings, using language that employers understand.

Within one week of course completion, you will receive an email from St. Cloud State University (via Credly) informing you that you have a new digital credential to accept. There is no fee for this service and acceptance is totally up to you.
Important Note: Certificates of Completion will be available to download/print from the Credly platform. You will need to follow the instructions emailed to you 1 week after course completion to accept the digital credentials in order to download and print your Certificate of Completion for each class.
About The Instructor:
Bob Bruce is a Twin Cities-based Information Architect who has expert level skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products. He’s an Excel 2013 Microsoft Certified Expert. Bob has logged thousands of hours as a software trainer, and is energized by the prospect of improving student skills and knowledge.
This live online training course is offered by a collaboration of Minnesota State colleges and universities.
