Cancellation Policy:

• Requests for cancellations must be in writing and emailed to pace@stcloudstate.edu 
• If a written cancellation is received any time prior to one week before the first day of the session, a full refund will be issued.
• If a written cancellation is received within one week or after the first day of the session, a refund, minus a 10 percent processing fee, will be issued.

We recommend registering at least five (5) business days in advance of the course start date to ensure timely delivery of your course materials package. Are you registering within the five (5) business days of the course start or after the course start? Not a problem. Students will be emailed digital workbook handouts for the class sessions to facilitate participation until their course materials are delivered.

GRE Prep Classes are offered live-online, Our virtual classroom provides you with the opportunity to interact in real time with our expert instructors and to re-watch the recordings of your class sessions at your convenience through 120 days after the last scheduled class session.  To supplement the live experience students have access to online support resources as well.

System Requirements: The live-online GRE Prep Course is offered online using Adobe Connect, a free application. All you need to participate in live-online classes or live-online office hours are a high-speed internet connection and speakers or headphones.

• Solution strategies for both quantitative comparison and multiple-choice problems
• Tips for breaking complex word problems into small, manageable parts
• Tips for turning geometric diagrams into solvable equations
• Review of the math concepts frequently tested on the exam

Verbal Test topics include:

• Solving problems when you don’t know all the vocabulary
• Answering reading comprehension questions quickly, without reading the entire passage
• Using comparison/contrast clues to solve sentence-completion problems

This free session is open to all individuals considering graduate school, including university juniors and seniors as well as those who have been out of school for a while. If you have taken the test before, this session will refresh your memory. If you are new to the test, this session is a great introduction to the GRE General Test.
